2025’s Top Rated Bed Sheets – A Buyer’s Guide
Does the Type of Sheets You Sleep On Really Make A Difference In Overall Comfort & Sleep Quality?
Choosing the right bedding and getting a good night's sleep relies on three key points: Comfort, temperature control, and value for money.
Most people are likely sleeping in cotton, flannel, or polyester bed sheets which are popular choices because of the price or lack of knowledge. We investigate some of the top bedding companies on the market and find out how they're changing the sleep industry!
Bamboo viscose bed sheets are a relatively new product that has started gaining popularity this year because of their superior benefits. The majority of bamboo bed sheets come with hefty price tags because of their quality, however, we're here to help you navigate through the many options to find the best value for your money.
For example, you’ll want to look for sheets that are breathable and moisture-wicking. Doctors say that we get the deepest, healthiest sleep when our bodies are cool, comfortable, and able to breathe. There's nothing worse than a set of sheets that hangs on to moisture and makes you hot. (Ahem: Night-sweats anyone?)
You’ll also want some sheets which are hypoallergenic and stay fresher for longer. We've found that cotton isn’t very good at being either of these things and tends to hold pollen, allergens, and other buildup until it’s washed! Unless your bedding is being washed daily, you’re likely suffering while you sleep and you just don’t know it.
It can be difficult to know which are the best bamboo bed sheets on the market. That's why Cosy Living has compiled months of research about this emerging category. We’ll show you what to look for and what to avoid when picking your perfect set of sheets, and how it can help transform your sleep.

What You Need In The Perfect Bedding
Taking all of the healthful attributes listed above into consideration, we've boiled down a list of four key characteristics you should always look for in a great bed sheet set. Try to seek out all of these qualities:
The problem with most bed sheet sets on the market is they are not very versatile in regards to temperature regulation & temperature changes that come with the seasons.
Flannel sheets can work great for winter months, but they'll leave you overheated and sweaty the rest of the year.
The top cotton bed sheets can be breathable and cooling in the summer months, but won't help to regulate temperatures the rest of the year when you need them to.
Bamboo sheets are naturally temperature-regulating and wick away moisture allowing you to stay cool and dry year-round.
The best bamboo sheets are silky soft, and even softer than Egyptian cotton while offering a heap of additional features. Bamboo bed sheets are more effective at moisture-wicking, and keeping you cool and dry throughout the night.
Irritants and common household non-living allergens can thrive when paired with bed sheets that give them the right environment, causing endless nights of tossing and turning from discomfort and skin and nose sensitivities. Luckily, 100% bamboo bed sheets are hypoallergenic, breathable, and gentle on the skin, raising their individual benefits exponentially.
Cheaper options seem appealing at first, but oftentimes these sheets pill after just a couple of washes and end up getting tossed out for a new set in no time. High-quality 100% bamboo bed sheets are durable and will look and feel great for years to come, no matter how many times you wash them.
Speaking of washing, the majority of bamboo bed sheets are machine washable, dryer-friendly, and easy to maintain. So there’s no worry or fuss when it comes to laundry day.
What To Avoid when buying Bed Sheets
The higher the thread count, the better the sheets, right? Actually, no (We were shocked to discover this too!) Thread count is an incredibly outdated method for measuring cotton sheets. It's actually considered to be an outdated form of measurement for gauging bedding quality, most people now measure sheets by GSM (Grams per square meter).
Higher thread count sheets also mean a tighter weave causing them to lose any benefit of cooling and breathing.
Many sheets are finished with chemicals that are harmful to your skin & body. Companies process their sheets with chemical finishes to stop shrinking, wrinkling, and pilling in the wash. It's incredibly important to look for OEKO-TEX or Certi-PUR certifications when buying sheets.
Consumers often think they're safe with Cotton sheets because they're grown but cotton is often sprayed with chemicals & pesticides that carry over into the final product. This is a recipe for disaster when your sleeping in them for 7-8 hours a day.
The best way to ensure your bedsheets are free of chemicals and/or harmful substances is to buy from one of the reputable brands carrying OEKO-TEX or Certi-PUR Certifications. OEKO-TEX certifies that the product has been tested for harmful substances and that they are, therefore, harmless for human health and safe to use.

California Design Den was our favorite cotton set we reviewed. However, we were definitely missing some of the features we had grown to love with the Cosy House Bamboo Sheets (Temperature Regulation).
California Design Den does have a variety of sizes to choose from, however, if you have a mattress with deeper pockets you may find yourself fighting the sheet in the corners to stay on.
Their return policy is also only 30-Days, and they do not feature any live customer support options

- Soft & Breathable
- Hypoallergenic

- Deep Pocket Fit (41cm)
CONS

The Bottom Line
The Sheet Story Bamboo Fitted Sheet offers a tempting combination of softness, breathability, and allergy-friendliness, all backed by OEKO-TEX certification for safety. Their deep pocket fit allows for use on beds up to 41 centimetres.
boo sheet set from Cariloha retails for around £475.86, and while they are soft it is hard to say they are 5x better than the Cosy House or California Design Den Sheets.
However, there are a few things to keep in mind. The sheet isn't made from 100% bamboo, but rather a bamboo and cotton blend. Therefore, the luxurious feel might not be quite as intense as some pure bamboo sheets. There's also a chance it might shrink after washing, so be mindful of drying instructions.

The Bottom Line
Zleepy's Organic Bamboo Fitted Bedsheet is crafted from 100% organic bamboo lyocell for a luxuriously soft, temperature-regulating, and hypoallergenic sleep experience. The deep pocket design (up to 40 cm) ensures a snug fit on most mattresses.
While bamboo lyocell boasts softness, this type of material tends to bobble over time. Additionally, this sheet is on the pricier side and only available in white. If those factors don't deter you, Zleepy's fitted sheet offers a natural, mindful, and beneficial option for a comfortable night's sleep.

C+
Overall GradePROS
- 100% Bamboo Rayon
- Very Soft & Hypoallergenic
- Temperature Regulating
- OEKO-TEX Certified
CONS
- Wrinkles Easily
- May Slip Off Bed
- Expensive
- 30-Day Return Policy
The Bottom Line
Bambaw's Bamboo Fitted Sheet. Made from 100% bamboo rayon, it boasts natural temperature regulation and hypoallergenic properties, perfect for those with sensitive skin. The sheet's smooth texture offers a cosy bedtime embrace. However, be prepared for some wrinkling, as is common with bamboo rayon sheets.
There's also a chance the fitted sheet might not hug your mattress as tightly as some, potentially slipping off during the night. The price point leans towards the higher end, and the return policy is just 30 days. If these drawbacks don't outweigh the comfort and temperature benefits, Bambaw's fitted sheet could be a great choice for a truly restful night's sleep.
